Important message from the founder

We are writing to you personally to share some important news with you regarding PatientChase.

We regret to inform you that in accordance with the Terms of Cancellation in the End User Licence Agreement, the EMIS Software will be withdrawn as of 31st March 2023 and therefore PatientChase will no longer be able to operate after that date. After 17 years of building and growing the company, this has been a difficult situation to accept and we appreciate that the fact that the service will stop as of 31st March 2023 will not be welcome news. We know that this may cause some inconvenience for our customers and for that, we are very sorry. We will try to minimise any disruption as best we can and we intend to keep PatientChase running until 31st March 2023, to try to ensure a smooth transition for our customers. I will personally be contacting surgeries that are more affected by this transition, but please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We now intend to consolidate and focus our resources on PatientLeaf as well as looking more to work with local IT initiatives. We want to take this opportunity to express our thanks to all our customers for their support over the years.

Tips

In addition to our basic instructions, you can find ‘how to’ tips below.

How to set an overnight ‘EMIS Sync’ scheduler

Always have PatientChase ready to go without waiting for it to sync with EMIS.

Exporting searches to Excel

Useful if you want to print lists, do further filtering or sorting of the data, or to produce a dataset to import into a 3rd party SMS provider.

Exporting specific patients to Excel

Handy if you want to produce a seperate list of patients who are housebound or live in care homes.
